I have been trying to add a kernel of my own to a poky release.
The idea was simple
1) Apply http://labs.igep.es/index.php/Update_th ... nt_release to a SD-card
Once i have \"de ubuntud\" the installer script, it worked like a charm. At this point i continued to update the nand as well.
Then I removed the card and put it back in my host.
I then followed
However, I compiled with
make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=[your cross compiler] zImage modules
make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=[your cross compiler] uImage modules
I then copied the zImage to my bootfs and installed modules to /lib/modules on the rootfs
When I then boot from this card, the serial console gets stuck on.
Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
Where did I go wrong?
I have by the way also tried the master branch for the kernel and also to compile poky from scratch, with no sucess.
