Hi all, We\\\'re plaised to announce the Linux mainline tree in git.myigep.com. Here is where the development work takes place and you should use this if you\\\'re after to work with the latest cutting edge developments. It is possible \\\'master\\\' can suffer temporary periods of instability while new features are developed and if this is undesirable we recommend using one of the release branches. This Linux kernel is also considered as a downstream of tmlind\\\'s Linux kernel. The main difference between this tree and the linux-omap tree is that the myigep OMAP tree has unpublished patches for IGEP v2 support. See: http://wiki.myigep.com/trac/wiki/HowToC ... inuxKernel (ch. 1.3.4)

hi guys, I\\\'ve just attempted to get init a new kernel repo on my pendrive, and that is what i get:
nazgee@nazgee-desktop:/media/GOODDRIVE/sources$ git clone http://git.myigep.com/pub/scm/linux-omap-2.6.gitInitialized empty Git repository in /media/GOODDRIVE/sources/linux-omap-2.6/.git/ fatal: http://git.myigep.com/pub/scm/linux-omap-2.6.git/info/refs not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server?
what is the problem? is something wrong with your server, or is it me forgetting to do something silly? EDIT: brief googling gave me for example this: http://www.jedi.be/blog/2009/05/06/8-wa ... epository/ basing my knowledge on this one, I assume there might be something wrong with your gisterver config, maybe due to migration process.
