The IGEPv5 hardware manual states (page 63) that the 5V input is between 80mA and 6A, with typical around 2A. We didn't order a supply from ISEE, but are using a 1.5A supply we already have. Is this sufficient to boot up an IGEPv5 (full edition), assuming only keyboard and mouse plugged in to USB ports and HDMI out? If not, are there any ways to minimize power consumption, possibly by turning off portions of the board that are not needed (such as WiFi/Bluetooth) during the boot process or through hardware jumpers?

Hi bwolfe,

It's recommended use 2A minimum power supply, if you wish use full USB you can need a bigger power supply ...
About disable some peripherals yes it's possible power down wifi/bt or hdmi ...
