Kernel boot problem nothing displayed in console

Hi, I have got an IGEPv2 rev C. board. I have compiled uboot and verified it is working. I downloaded kernel and the sources from the following link labs.igep.es/index.php/Linux_Kernel_2.6.35.y When I used prebuilt kernel the box is able to load the kernel from sd card. But, when I built and tried to load I got the following message and nothing more. Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. I followed the instruction to build kernel as given in various webpages in IGEP. basically, I set CROSS_COMPILE, PATH, ARCH, Built the kernel using \\\"make igep00x0_defconfig\\\" and \\\"make uImage\\\" commands.
