Hi,
I have just got ubuntu running using the instructions off thw wiki and upgraded the kernel to v2.6.37-04, also from the wiki (I get to the login screen through the dvi connector and my monitor). Problem is the serial console seems to be disabled. last thing I get in the serial console is uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. Then stuff happens on the screen and console stops. I dont have a USB keyboard hence why the problem. How can I re-enable the console?

Any ideas appreciated
Cheers

You should change in the igep.ini file the console parameter: ttyS2 to ttyO2 Cheers Manel

I have just managed to fix this problem, well sort of. I rolled back to kernel v2.6.35.13-5 (from wiki) and all seems to be working. serial console must be disabled in the later versions of ht kernel on the wiki?
